Dr. Mohammad Naeem Wardak has served as Deputy Foreign Minister, overseeing finance and administration, since January 2025. Before this position, he was the Chargé d'Affaires at the Taliban Embassy in Doha, Qatar, and also served as a spokesperson for the Taliban’s Political Office in Doha.
