Inayatullah Khwarazmi currently serves as the spokesperson and head of public relations at the Ministry of National Defense. Born in the mid-1990s, his early schooling took place in his hometown of Qushqar, followed by high school in Qaisar district, Faryab province. He later attended a local madrassa, where he was influenced by peers to join the Taliban. After the Taliban's takeover in August 2021, Khwarazmi briefly worked in the office of the Taliban's chief spokesperson, Zabihullah Mujahid. Subsequently, he was introduced to Defense Minister Mullah Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, who appointed him as spokesperson.
