Mawlawi Abdul Qayyum Roohani was appointed Commander of the 203 Mansoori Military Corps based in Gardez, Paktia provinceas in mid-October 2025. Prior to this role, he served as Governor of Khost province since late June 2024. Before that, he was Deputy Governor of Nimruz province from October 2023 to June 2024. Earlier, he held the position of Deputy Governor of Herat province.
