Mawlawi Matiullah Saifullah has been the Provincial Chief of Police in Kunduz province since April 2023. Before assuming this role, he held the same position in Balkh province. In the 1990s, he directed the Kabul Customs House under the Taliban, and from mid-2013, he played a key role in the Taliban's recruitment commission.
