Mawlawi Mohammad Zarif Muzafar was appointed Commander of the 205 Al-Badr Military Corps in Kandahar Province in early January 2026.
Prior to this position, he was Governor of Saripul province from July 2024. Before that, he served as Deputy Minister for Technology and Logistics at the Ministry of National Defense from October 26, 2022. Earlier, he served as the Commander of the 207 Al-Farooq Military Corps in Herat province.
