Mawlawi Mohammad Zarif Muzafar was appointed as Governor of Saripul province in July 2024. Before this role, he served as Deputy Minister for Technology and Logistics at the Ministry of National Defense since October 26, 2022. Prior to that, he was the Commander of the 207 Al-Farooq Military Corps in Herat province.
