Qari Aminullah Tayeb has been serving as the Deputy Governor of Badakhshan province since January 2024. Prior to assuming this role, he was the Deputy Commander of the 313 Central Military Corps in Kabul province from late October 2022 to December 2023. Before that, he served as the chief of staff of the First Border Brigade under the 217 Omari Military Corps, based in Kunduz province.
