Qari Mohammad Ayub Khalid assumed the role of Commander of the 215 Azm Military Corps in Helmand province in mid-October 2025.
Previously, he served as Governor of Badakhshan province from September 2023. Prior to that, he briefly served as Governor of Kunar province from May 4 to June 25, 2023, and as Corps Commander of the 207 Al-Farooq Military Corps in Herat province from October 2022 to May 2023. Before these appointments, he served as Corps Commander of the 203 Mansoori Military Corps in Gardez, Paktia province.
