Sheikh Aziz-ur-Rahman Mansoor was appointed Governor of Parwan province in late January 2026. Prior to this appointment, he served as Deputy Minister for the Integration of Islamic and Religious Centers at the Ministry of Hajj (Pilgrimage) and Religious Affairs from September 2022. Earlier, he was deputy governor of Paktia province from November 2021 to September 2022.
