Mawlawi Abdul Rahman Kunduzi was appointed as Governor of Helmand province in October 2023. Before this role, he served as the deputy governor of the same province from October 2022 to October 2023. Prior to that, he held the position of Governor of Samangan province from November 2021 to October 2022.
