Mawlawi Ahmad Shah Din Dost was appointed Governor of Saripul province in early January 2026. He previously served as Commander of the 205 Al-Badr Military Corps in Kandahar province from September 2024 to January 2026. Prior to that, he served as the Governor of Ghor province since the fall of 2021.
