Mawlawi Qudratullah Abu Hamza has been serving as the Governor of Kunar province since July 2023. Before this appointment, he held the position of Governor of Zabul province from October 2022 to June 2023. Prior to that, he served as the Governor of Balkh province from November 2021 to October 2022. In the past, Qudratullah Abu Hamza had served as a shadow governor of Balkh province before the Taliban’s takeover.
