Mullah Mohammad Hafiz Mujahid was appointed Provincial Governor of Farah province in September 2025. Before this role, he served as Deputy Commander of the 313 Central Military Corps in Kabul province since January 2024. Prior to that, he commanded the 219 Omar Salis (Omar the Third) military division (firqa).
