Hafiz Abdul Aziz Haqqani, born in the late 1980s, is a senior member of the Haqqani Network and the brother of Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, the current interior minister and leader of the Haqqani Network. In August 2015, the U.S. Department of State designated Aziz Haqqani as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist (SDGT) due to his involvement in acts of terrorism, including suicide operations. The U.S. government also offered a reward of up to $5 million for information leading to his capture.
